Service Center Magnets
These magnets were available to shops free of charge so they could advertise the fact that their business was an Authorized Nintendo Service Center. Originally sporting Mario in his Service Center garb, Nintendo decided to liven their advertising merchandise a bit by adding more vibrant, noticable colors and by using other trademarked Nintendo characters. The magnet pictured on top with Service Mario is their original design while the other two magnets are of Diddy Kong from Donkey Kong Country and Samus from Super Metroid. The two newer magnets were made available for Servicers in May of 1994, and were two of the most popular video game franchises of the time.
